About Jeannie Penner-More

Jeannie Penner-More was raised in the South Bay and has been involved in the real estate profession, development and mortgage financing for two decades. Having lived in Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo Beach, Jeannie found her area of expertise in the beach cities. Jeannie’s passion for development is in the blood. Penner remembers visiting her grandparent’s in San Juan, Puerto Rico and going to the tract of upscale homes her grandfather developed. Naturally she followed the family tradition. Her projects range from San Pedro to West Los Angeles including many sites in Redondo Beach. Penner especially takes pride in a 5 bedroom, 5 bath Spanish Revival custom home she recently completed for herself and family.

She began her real estate career in Indian Wells in 1989 working for Russell Wade Real Estate. She specialized in residential Country Club sales, such as Vintage Club & El Dorado Country Club. Jeannie became an exclusive agent for a Japanese developer from Osaka, YSC America, developing in the exclusive area of Indian Wells. Beautiful as the desert might be, Jeannie couldn’t wait to get back to the beach. She started at Shorewood in 1995 but shortly after left and joined Bayside Properties. She quickly became one of the top producing agents and created a successful team with Bayside. Jeannie has been in the top five of her company from 1999-2007. She has now begun a career with Scott Anastasi Realty and finds it an adventure and challenge to exceed her sales numbers from previous years.

Community service has also been her passion. As a member of the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce, she became involved with multiple organizations including the following:

• Leadership Redondo
• Board of Director for Redondo Beach Sister City Program
• Chairperson for Redondo Beach Sister City China Committee (She attended 2 trips to Zhanjiagang)
• “Roaring 90’s club” (Founding Corporate Sponsor) This organization is a club to honor ninety + year old residence in the South Bay which provides social events throughout the year.

Jeannie is the proud wife of Robert More, mother of two wonderful sons, four grandchildren, step mother to four step-children and most recently adopted a beautiful little girl. Her home is always warm and inviting to clients, friends and family. It is not unusual to see many of Jeannie’s past clients at her social events as they have become some of her closest friends.
